Artist/Potter I am of the Haliwa-Saponi tribe. I am best know for my red & white pottery, but I am also a Multi-faceted artist. beadwork, leatherwork, basketry.. storytelling, etc. My pottery is hand-coiled & hand etched. My pottery is in the collection of the Smithsonian of the American Indian Washington DC. The Museum of History, Raleigh NC, The Gregg Museum of Art & Design Raleigh NC. The McKissick Museum , Columbia SC.I am also a NC Folk Heritage Award Recipient, 2007. I also designed the walk way at UNC Chapel Hill ( The Gift) at the Frank Porter Student Union.
